Every team ends up writing its own review my PR, write a commit message and deploy to staging skill: for Claude Code in one repo, Cursor in another, Copilot in a third. Nobody knows how many there are, which one is best, or which one quietly pipes environment variables to a webhook or tells the agent to skip approval prompts.
rookery gives you that picture in one command. It runs locally, takes about a second, and never uploads anything.

Questions
What does the rookery skill do?
Find every AI agent skill in your repos, spot the duplicates teams keep rebuilding, and catch the risky ones. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini and MCP.
Is rookery safe to install?
No — not without reading the findings first. The audit graded it F (56/100) and found 3 critical or high issues in the source. Each one is listed on this page with the file and line it is on.
What can rookery access on my machine?
The audit observed that it reaches the network and reads or writes files. Each of those is consistent with what it says it does. Secrets in the source: found — see the findings.
Which assistants does rookery work with?
Its documentation mentions claude-code, codex, copilot, cursor, gemini-cli and windsurf. That is what the text claims, not a compatibility test we ran.
How current is this page?
The grade is for one exact copy of the source (7c96d52f22f5), read on 2026-10-11. The repository is watched, and a new audit runs when it changes — this is the first audit.
