What it tells the agent

The instruction file, verbatim from the audited commit — this is the text the model reads, and the surface the audit's instruction layer examines. Quoted here so you can judge it without cloning anything.

name: cluster-manage
description: Manage Kurtosis cluster settings. Switch between Docker and Kubernetes backends, list available clusters, and configure which cluster Kurtosis uses. Use when you need to change where Kurtosis runs enclaves.
compatibility: Requires kurtosis CLI. Kubernetes requires kubectl with cluster access.

# Cluster Manage

Switch between Docker and Kubernetes backends for Kurtosis.

## Check current cluster

```bash
kurtosis cluster get
```

Returns `docker` or `kubernetes`.

## List available clusters

```bash
kurtosis cluster ls
```

## Switch cluster

```bash
# Switch to Docker
kurtosis cluster set docker
# Switch to Kubernetes (uses current kubectl context)
kurtosis cluster set kubernetes
```

After switching, restart the engine:

```bash
kurtosis engine restart
```

## Kubernetes setup

When using Kubernetes:

1. Ensure `kubectl` is configured and can reach your cluster:
   ```bash
   kubectl cluster-info
   kubectl get nodes
   ```

2. Switch Kurtosis to Kubernetes:
   ```bash
   kurtosis cluster set kubernetes
   kurtosis engine start
   ```

3. Start the gateway (required for local CLI to reach the k8s-based engine):
   ```bash
   kurtosis gateway &
   ```

4. Verify:
   ```bash
   kurtosis engine status
   ```

## Config file

The cluster setting is stored in the Kurtosis config file:

```bash
kurtosis config path
```

Typically at `~/Library/Application Support/kurtosis/kurtosis-config.yml` on macOS.

Questions

What does the Cluster Manage skill do?

A platform for packaging and launching blockchain infra. Think docker compose for blockchain

Is Cluster Manage safe to install?

The audit found nothing in the source that contradicts what it says it does, and graded it B (89/100). Grade A is held back for packages that have also passed a sandboxed behavioural run, which is why a clean skill reads B.

What can Cluster Manage access on my machine?

The audit observed no filesystem, network or shell use at all in its source.

How current is this page?

The grade is for one exact copy of the source (938b496bbe73), read on 2026-10-14. The repository is watched, and a new audit runs when it changes — this is the first audit.
