This is the public source for @voidly/pay-mcp, a local stdio connector for the hosted Voidpay marketplace. Version 0.7.4 offers 12 tools. Public service discovery needs no credential. Creator drafts and publishing require an owner-approved scoped grant. A checkout link sends the owner to the browser for review and payment. The connector does not sign transactions, hold wallet keys, or make autonomous purchases.

Hosted Voidpay (four public tools)

The hosted connector at https://api.voidly.ai/mcp/voidpay is a separate HTTP service with voidpay_status, voidpay_services, voidpay_storefront, and voidpay_checkout_link. These are public read/link tools; the hosted connector does not expose the local package's 12-tool creator catalog. A checkout link prepares a buyer-browser handoff. The buyer reviews and authorizes any payment in the browser; the agent cannot sign, pay, or hold payment keys. A listing is not proof of available services or checkout readiness.

Questions

What is the pay-mcp MCP server?

Local Voidpay Marketplace MCP connector for service discovery, owner-approved storefronts, and browser checkout links.

Is pay-mcp safe to connect to an agent?

The audit found nothing in the source that contradicts what it says it does, and graded it B (89/100). Grade A is held back for packages that have also passed a sandboxed behavioural run, which is why a clean server reads B.

What credentials does pay-mcp need?

It reads VOIDPAY_CREATOR_SETUP_FILE from the environment. Give it a token scoped to the least it needs — an agent that can be talked into calling a tool can be talked into calling it with your credentials.

How does pay-mcp run?

It speaks stdio, so it runs as a local process your client starts. It is published on npm as @voidly/pay-mcp at 0.7.4.

How current is this page?

The grade is for one exact copy of the source (85997d49b9cb), read on 2026-10-07. The repository is watched and re-audited when it changes.
