Hevy CLI
Prefer the terminal? The separate `@chrisdoc/hevy-cli` package reads workouts, routines, exercises, and body measurements directly from the Hevy API, and can create or update those resources with explicit confirmation. Deletion is not supported.
npm install -g @chrisdoc/hevy-cli export HEVY_API_KEY=your-hevy-api-key hevy workouts list --page-size 10 hevy summary --weeks 4
Add --json to any command for scripts and pipelines. The CLI is a standalone Hevy API client, not an MCP wrapper. See [packages/cli/README.md](packages/cli/

Questions
What is the hevy-mcp MCP server?
Manage your Hevy workouts, routines, folders, and exercise templates. Create and update sessions faster, organize plans, and search exercises to build workouts quickly. Stay synced with changes so your training log is always up to date.
What tools does hevy-mcp expose?
2 in total: 2 read-only, 0 that write, and 0 that can delete or overwrite. Every one is listed on this page with its risk.
Is hevy-mcp safe to connect to an agent?
With care. The audit graded it F (46/100) and found 25 things worth knowing before you trust this server, listed below with the exact line each was found on.
What credentials does hevy-mcp need?
It reads CLOUDFLARE_OAUTH_KV_NAMESPACE_ID, CODECOV_TOKEN, EXPECTED_KEY, HEVY_API_KEY, HEVY_MCP_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN, OTEL_COLLECTOR_TOKEN and SENTRY_AUTH_TOKEN from the environment. Give it a token scoped to the least it needs — an agent that can be talked into calling a tool can be talked into calling it with your credentials.
How does hevy-mcp run?
It speaks stdio and streamable-http, so it runs as a local process your client starts. It is published on npm as knip-analysis-fixture at 6.1.14.
How current is this page?
The grade is for one exact copy of the source (104d024071d9), read on 2026-09-25. The repository is watched and re-audited when it changes.
