ramus-mcp lets Claude — or any MCP client — work with models made in Ramus, the IDEF0 business-process modelling tool. It opens a .rsf file, reads the activity tree and every arrow, and sees each diagram as a picture. It checks the model against the rules of IDEF0, changes it with boxes and arrows placed and routed the IDEF0 way, or builds a new model from nothing — and saves a .rsf that Ramus opens.
A model built from nothing — every frame is one tool call, drawn by the server itself.

Questions
What is the ramus-mcp MCP server?
Claude's eyes and hands for Ramus IDEF0 models: read, see, check, edit and create .rsf files over MCP. Claude Desktop extension.
What tools does ramus-mcp expose?
28 in total: 13 read-only, 13 that write, and 2 that can delete or overwrite (delete_activity, delete_arrow). Every one is listed on this page with its risk.
Is ramus-mcp safe to connect to an agent?
The audit found nothing in the source that contradicts what it says it does, and graded it B (89/100). Grade A is held back for packages that have also passed a sandboxed behavioural run, which is why a clean server reads B. Separately from the audit: 2 of its tools can destroy data, so scope the token you give it to what you actually need.
What credentials does ramus-mcp need?
No credential environment variables were found in its source, so it appears to need none.
How current is this page?
The grade is for one exact copy of the source (3b05a437d7cc), read on 2026-10-11. The repository is watched and re-audited when it changes.
